Thea “the fjord” is the fourth and final sauna that completes our popular sauna hub at Lura!

Here we have done everything to create the best sauna experience possible. Thea is oriented so that the benches and panoramic window point straight out towards the Gandsfjord, with a beautiful view of the mountains on the other side. We have built a wooden terrace in front with a proper ladder all the way down to the water for easy swimming, as well as screen walls on each side so that you have a private little pocket for yourself, with a fresh water shower to rinse off salt water.

The benches are made of heat-treated wood that does not feel hot to sit on, and good and comfortable air circulation is ensured in the sauna room with strategically placed valves, with a well-dimensioned stove for even and good heat. The sauna feels spacious but at the same time intimate, and is perfect for small groups of just 2 people, or larger groups of up to 12 people.

Thea is equipped with a large wardrobe for storing clothes and belongings during the sauna session.
