Kari is our fifth floating sauna at the popular sauna hub at Hundvåg. This is a luxurious and warm sauna with Himalayan salt stones on the walls. This releases small amounts of salt in the steam, which has a beneficial and health-promoting effect on both skin and lungs.
The benches are made of thermo-wood that is comfortable to sit on in the heat, with a large wood-burning stove in front that provides stable and long-lasting heat to the entire sauna room. Kari offers good bathing opportunities during the sauna session from a stable floating dock with a bathing ladder all the way down to the water in front.
The sauna has its own wardrobe for storing clothes and belongings during the sauna session, and free parking is offered nearby.
Note:
All sauna reservations are completely private. You will have the entire sauna to yourself during the reserved time.
Minimum booking: 2 people. You can of course sit alone in the sauna, but have to pay for 2 persons.
Payment: for international guests, please add a note when booking that you need a Stripe-link (card payment) sent to you by email. We will send this to the email provided when you book, and you can pay after your visit is finished.
