At the very top of Sirdal, right by the Ådneram ski lift, you will find Helga “the cozy one”. This is a large, wood-fired sauna built from local materials like heat-treated spruce on the outside and larch on the inside, with a floor in solid oak. The sauna is built in the traditional way with a gable and ridge roof, which gives it an appearance that blends right into the high mountains.

Helga is well insulated and can achieve high temperatures even on the coldest days, while we have ensured good ventilation and convection in the sauna room. The sauna stove is of the largest type and secures long lasting, stable heat. Here, up to 16 people can comfortably enjoy the view of Sirdal through the large panoramic window in the front, where you sit comfortably on airy benches in an open construction over two levels.

The wardrobe in the anteroom is extra spacious – both to provide space for all the outerwear you need in the mountains, but also to provide plenty of space so that everyone can spill out and take a quick “snow bath” in the middle of the sauna session!
