Right next to Lake Haukalivatnet, surrounded by spectacular mountains and classic Norwegian nature, you will find the sauna Helena “the nostalgic one”.

This is a traditional wood-fired sauna located right next to its own pier so that you can easily swim in the crystal-clear Lake Haukalivatnet. Here you will feel like you have traveled 150 years back in time, and can relax and enjoy total peace and quiet in scenic surroundings far away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The sauna will be prepared and heated upon arrival, and has a spacious cloakroom for storing belongings during the session, as well as free parking nearby.

But, for Booksauna’s sauna guests we have arranged a special offer: fully furnished accommodation for up to 6 people in the farmhouse from 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM the next day, with a sauna session and swimming in the evening, and afterwards a prepared and pre-heated traditional wood-fired stone oven for pizza or other baked food that guests can bring with them – for a total price of 5000 NOK for the accommodation.
