Sven «den avslappa»

At «Sokn Camping» you will find Sven «the relaxed», and it invites you to do just that – a lovely, relaxing sauna session in the middle of your holiday, or whenever you happen to be nearby and want an authentic sauna session in beautiful, family-friendly surroundings. The campsite offers plenty of activities for young and old, with easy access to the sea from a lovely sandy beach, a big water slide, a jumping pillow, showers, an ice-cream bar, a restaurant and canoe rental. There is something for everyone.

The sauna is built with proper heat-treated wooden benches on two levels and a powerful wood-fired stove that gives real sauna «löyly», with a lovely view out over the sea. There is room for up to 10 people, and parking is on site.

The sauna is self-service, which means you light it yourself. You should therefore arrive at least 30 minutes before your booking starts to fire it up – that time is of course free of charge. Light the stove and enjoy the facilities and the area while you wait! We also suggest keeping an eye on the bookings, or simply emailing us beforehand to ask: if there has been a guest before you, the sauna will already be warm and you won't need to light it.
