There is a barrier down to the pier that closes at 5:00 PM. Park along the road on the upside as indicated on the map. If you need help opening the barrier, call: +47 980 15 529 Mons is a warm and cozy sauna built in thermo wood, located on a pier in Tasta with a beautiful view of the fjord. The sauna has space for up to 10 people. The bench configuration is intimate and allows for good conversation, and with two height levels you can choose how hot you want it. Here you also have good bathing facilities with a proper wooden staircase that leads all the way down into the water, with railings all the way. And afterwards you can rinse off the salt water in a rain shower on the wall. Accoya wood flooring leads from the sauna entrance all the way out to the bathing area. Mons has its own changing room with storage shelves, and free parking is available nearby.

In the the center of Rosendal, right down by the water with a fantastic view of the fjord and mountains, you will find the sauna Leif "the long one". This is a large and family-friendly sauna. Here we have intentionally made the sauna room a bit elongated, so that everyone has more choice in choosing how hot they want it. Those who really want to cook can sit right up by the oven on the top benches, and those who need lower temperatures (for example children and elderly), can sit a little further away on the bottom benches. This way the whole family can enjoy the sauna session together! A swimming ladder down into the fjord is located nearby, so here you can easily combine sauna and swimming with one of the most beautiful views in Norway – right at the center of Rosendal. The sauna is electrically heated and requires no interaction from you as a guest, just go into a pre-heated sauna and start the session. Leif has a large wardrobe at the back for storing personal belongings, and free parking is available nearby at the campsite (see separate instructions).

Not far from the city center of Sandnes you can discover an urban little adventure. Saga “the hidden pearl” is a luxurious floating sauna located in a natural, sheltered bay between buildings and old industry. In this green pocket you can traverse the long floating bridge and enter your own private sphere of peace and relaxation. Here, just a few minutes away from the city center, you can experience a real wood-fired sauna and finnish “löyly” done the right way. Saga can accommodate up to 10 people, has a large dressing room and a heat room equipped with airy benches over two levels with great view over the water. Here you can easily swim from the floating dock, which is equipped with a sturdy ladder leading down into the water, and shower off saltwater with a cold freshwater shower mounted on the outer wall. SUP boards are included in the price.

    Kari «den salte»

    Kari is our fifth floating sauna at the popular sauna hub at Hundvåg. This is a luxurious and warm sauna with Himalayan salt stones on the walls. This releases small amounts of salt in the steam, which has a beneficial and health-promoting effect on both skin and lungs. The benches are made of thermo-wood that is comfortable to sit on in the heat, with a large wood-burning stove in front that provides stable and long-lasting heat to the entire sauna room. Kari offers good bathing opportunities during the sauna session from a stable floating dock with a bathing ladder all the way down to the water in front. The sauna has its own wardrobe for storing clothes and belongings during the sauna session, and free parking is offered nearby.

    Freja «den fullkomne»

    Freja is a spectacular floating sauna built from top to toe in luxurious materials. The sauna has two floors, with its own "lounge area" on the roof terrace, a luxurious and spacious sauna room with warm lighting, and great bathing opportunities from a large floating dock with a swimming ladder into the water, and underwater lights that illuminate the water at night. Here you get a total sauna experience completely out of the ordinary. Freja can comfortably accommodate large groups of up to 16 people, but with its warm and intimate layout it is also perfect for smaller, intimate groups of 2 people. The wardrobe is spacious, with separate shelves for storing belongings during the sauna session. There is a freshwater shower right next to it to rinse off the seawater after a bath.

    Timo «den varmeste»

    When we built Timo, we went right back to our roots. This is a classic finnish sauna for the enthusiast, built in thermo wood equipped with an oversized oven that can really "bring the heat". It gets really hot here if you want it to, and with its location right next to the fjord «Gandsfjorden», a cooling dip in cold water is never far away. Timo has room for 10 people, and a large and spacious changing room. SUP board included.

The Saunas are a very nice place to swim in the cold water and then relax in the heat of the sauna. The location is a 5 minute walk from the #6 bus stop at Luravikn.. The bus ride was about 30 minutes from downtown Stravenger. I highly recommend this Norwegian experience. Henrik the Owner is helpful and accommodating
