Right by Borestranden, with a view of the sea and Feistein lighthouse, you will find Steinen «den værbitte (the weather-beaten). Here we have built a rustic and sturdy sauna that stands with a perfect view over the breaking seawaves of Borestranden, a place that has become a favorite among surfers. Here you can seek shelter and enjoy a warm and cozy sauna in the middle of the famous sandy beaches of Jæren. After a refreshing walk or surfing session,  you can sit in warm comfort and and gaze out at the rough elements of the open sea through the window. The sauna is equipped with a powerful, wood-fired stove and intimate seating for up to 6 people. Parking is available nearby.

Please note: there are strong rip-tides in the sea-water, and it is not recommended for swimming for anyone other than surfers or highly experienced  individuals with wet suits. Use the shower at the sauna to cool off between sessions.
