Steinen «den værbitte»

Right by Borestranden beach, looking out over the sea and Feistein lighthouse, you will find Steinen «the weather-beaten». Here we have built a rustic, sturdy sauna with a perfect view of the waves breaking out at sea, and it has become a favourite among the surfers at Borestranden. This is where you can take shelter and enjoy a warm, cosy sauna out on the Jæren beaches – after a refreshing walk or a surf session, for example – and sit in peace and quiet watching the elements through the window. The sauna has a powerful wood-fired stove and an intimate seating area for up to 6 people. Parking by the sauna.

The sauna is self-service, so you need to arrive 30 minutes before your booking starts to light the stove yourself (the stove's fire door is outside, on the sauna's outer wall).
