At Hundvåg in Stavanger you will find the floating sauna «Ask». Here we have built an extra large and stable floating platform to provide perfect bathing opportunities. The sauna itself is compact, modern and inviting with open benches and no less than 3 windows in the sauna room, which ensures lots of natural light and a good view, as well as an airy and spacious feeling – despite its compact size.
The sauna is equipped with a powerful wood-fired oven covered in over 100kg of stones. This secures stable and long-lasting heat, and makes it able to generate a lot of steam without losing heat even when you pour several ladles of water over it. A fantastic sauna for “löyly”!
«Ask» gives you an authentic and traditional Finnish sauna experience – right on the water in central Stavanger!
Note:
All sauna reservations are completely private. You will have the entire sauna to yourself during the reserved time.
