Bate boligbyggelag and Booksauna are launching our first “Bate-stue” – a completely new sauna concept with truly lavish saunas built with a saddle roof and the iconic red Bate boligbyggelag color.

These saunas are placed in central and urban areas with specially discounted prices for all Bate members, although they are available to everyone.
As a Bate member, you simply follow the instructions on the Bate website (e.g. by scanning the QR code at the entrance), and follow the steps there to take advantage of the discount.

This sauna is something that must be experienced. The sauna room is spacious, with a wall panel in heat-treated aspen, heat-treated benches that do not feel uncomfortably hot to sit on, salt stones on the walls, its own spacious wardrobe, good ventilation through the floor and a well-sized wood-burning stove.

The entire sauna is located in the middle of a private, green little pocket in the middle of downtown Stavanger, with bamboo walls for privacy, as well as planters and pots with plants, giving the whole experience an almost tropical feel. From the sauna room you still have a great view of the fjord out of Stavanger and the boating life!

The sauna has running water with its own rain shower on the wall, and a proper cold water basin in front by the view. Outside there is a relaxation area with a table and benches, and the entire area around the sauna is tiled with composite tiles so that you can walk around barefoot without being in contact with the ground.

Free parking is available a few steps away from the sauna, and a bicycle rack is located right at the entrance.
